Directions for Viewing Your Record
NMLS is updated in real time. However, keep in mind schools have seven (7) calendar days to report to NMLS.
A course I completed is not showing up in NMLS. Why?
Check with your course provider and request that they report your course completion to NMLS.
Course providers have seven calendar days to report to NMLS.
Be sure you give the school your correct NMLS ID and correct spelling of your last name as it appears in NMLS.
Schools will not report a course completion unless all course assignments are completed.
My CE is listed as "Pending." Why?
Your course completion record shows “pending” for 2024 because, as of January 1, the system sets a CE requirement for the new calendar year.
Just as you may have completed CE in 2023 to renew a license for 2024, you will be required to complete CE in 2024 to renew the license for 2025.
I am late on taking my CE course. How can I take late CE?
To make up CE for 2024 or earlier you need to complete Late CE. Click the button below for information on how to complete late CE:
Why does my record say "No CE Required?"
You completed PE requirements this year, so you do not have a requirement to complete CE.
How can I confirm what agencies have early deadlines for CE completion?
Consult the State-Specific Education Requirements (PE and CE) page on the NMLS Resource Center.
How do I find a course provider?
Consult the NMLS Approved Course Provider List to find an approved course provider.
